The best ghost stories in horror movie history.

Okay I'm not a big fan of things like this, because I am a gorehound, but can we all really say that there are good ghost stories in horror movies?

Well I only have two.

Amityville(remake) or what abou that one that came out of Japan(or wherever the hell it came from) and into america called The Grudge. I really don't know any good ones. But these are the ones that I call, what are you'res.

Dead Silence was more based upon dolls but the woman controlling the dolls was a ghost and that movie scared the shit out of me! I couldn't sleep that night, fearing she'd come out of my closet and get me. And I was 19! Stupid dolls! I hate them!

Other than that, I also liked Silent Hill, based upon ghosts more or less. They were dead and in purgatory. And the ghosts of Gravedancers freaked the hell outta me.

Stir Of Echoes (you wouldn't know, but this is one of my favorite movies)
Noroi (gives me the chills, Sorry Steelba, King, and whoever else doesn't like it)
Amityville[Remake] (Don't know why people don't like this movie)
The Frighteners (Movie was better than I was expecting)

I think Amittyville II (prequel) is the best of any Amittyville movies including the remake.

i read both your threads and the list was lame...basic horror movies that wouldnt classify anyone as a gore hound.....wasnt a dig just advice that you may wanna watch some gore flicks first if your considering yourself a gorehound
