    Sweet deal I think

I just got the original Trick or Treat for .99 used and Dementia 13 for 2.99 used both on DVD. I don't know if anybody else really cares, but I was pretty stoked about it. All together I purchused six movies for $22.00, not bad in my opinion.

Perhaps that's sweet, but I haven't heard of any of them so that might sway towards the badside. But maybe they're laughablely bad, in which case awesome.

Trick Or Treat was one of those movies my heavy metal loving cousins would subject us to at about midnight during sleepovers. (Dead Heat was another favorite.)

Just don't buy the hype about Gene Simmons and Ozzy Ozzbourne being in Trick Or Treat. Both are really small roles, and the main character was played by Skippy in Family Ties. I had a review of it up waaay back in the day.

Dementia 13 is in the Public Domain. $3 isn't bad -- at least someone went through the trouble of encoding it and making it nice.

I have it on tape and dvd here.

I have watched Dementia 13 because of public domain and I liked it.
I have shuned the idea of renting Trick or Treat for awhile.

To the main topic 6 movies for over 20 dollars is a good day.

Yeah, Dementia 13 is one of those movies that's available in almost ever "Classic Horror" movie box set and numerous single DVD releases.

Thats what I'm talkin about Choptop, I love alot of them cheesy 80's movies. I have a bunch recorded on vhs from when I was a kid and I usually throw something mindless in on boring saturday's. When I saw it cheap on dvd I couldn't pass it up.
That is funny King, D 13 isn't something I would have looked for, just saw it scanning through a bunch of used shit. Still, I feel I made out pretty good all in all.

I got 3 movies for $2.089 from Blockbuster online. I was pretty happy with myself at that deal. Got:

    Dark Water (remake)
The Glass House 2: The Good Mother
    The Hollow

They had a $10 off when you buy $10 or more and free shipping sale. I tent to like cheesy horror movies too.

I really like Dementia 13 too, I have it on a double bill with the original Night of the Living Dead, which is of course an excellent film. They've both got this eerie atmosphere that still gets under my skin today. Some black and white horror is like that (Nosferatu and Carnival of Souls have a similar effect on me).

Have you watched that Dark Water yet? My girl got that seems like forever ago and I've never really been interested in watching it. Just wondering if it's decent. I've never looked at Blockbuster online, but thats a good deal on some movies.
