you have a link for this? I've seen both the VHS and DVD (even the commentary on the DVD which is awesome) I didn't know there was so much cut out.
My VHS collection doesnt match my DVD but I still like to collect them. Though Lfrankensteins VHS collection smokes mine...I'll catch up to her though :mrpervert:

Since I'm one of the more younger members on here, when VHS switched over to DVD I didnt have a whole hell of a lot of movies, I usuaully just borrowed my dads tapes, so transfering over to DVD wasn't a huge deal for me. I still remember the last VHS I bought too, it was Jurassic Park 3. The problem for me though now is switching over to Blu-Ray, which I need an HDTV and Blu-Ray player first.

Fuck no. Just look at that cover.
It's one of those 80's Shot-On-Shiteo (thank you Cinema Snob for that) movies that no ones ever heard about, except for a few random nerds like myself. It's considered a collectors item since an actual copy of the original VHS is hard to find.

I should've known...but I had to ask. I'm a sucker for 80's horror, no matter how bad I can like almost any of it. I do collect still for cover art and/or rare films. Surprised I never came across any mention of it at all. Do you still collect or look for rare VHS?

Nah, I gave up that dream long ago. To be a collector you need money, which is the one thing I don't have. Though I usually go and hang out at a store that only sells used VHS tapes, I did how ever trade my last collectors' VHS tape awhile ago, it was a big box of Ms. 45 uncut.
With movies like Sledgehammer I'm content with just downloading them, just makes life easier.
If you want some other rare horror movies that are only on VHS, try finding Gore-Met: Zombie Chef From Hell, Spine, Hellroller and 555. Not sure if you've heard of any of these titles before or not, Gore-met is the only one that I believe is available in a big box and it has a pretty cool cover. To bad the movie is god awful.

I still try to look for old video stores that have VHS left. I use GPS and try to stop at all the ones it picks up. A lot of these stores have no idea what they've got an will get rid of it almost for free. When most of the Tommy K's around here were getting rid of their VHS I went to almost all of them, took me an entire weekend but I ended up with a lot of clams and big boxes. I have a clamshell of Alucarda under it's alternate title Sisters of Satan.
I have heard of Zombie Chef From Hell and Spine. That's the only problem with VHS; they all had awesome covers but the movies were never quite as good. I have about 500 or so, but most of them are still packed away until I get shelves built for them. I wish I could remember what else I've got.

I only have cartoons from my childhood on VHS, that and Dial M For Murder, it's where my love of Hitchcock comes from..

I had a few VHS movies when I was younger. I also would record every wrestling PPV that came on for about 2 or 3 years. Once I got older DVDs took over and I started collecting those. I got rid of all my VHS movies to younger relatives. I only have 3 VHS tapes left Wrestlemania 2, WCW Starrcade 97', and Game 4 of the 04' World Series Sox vs. Cards.

I used to tape all the wrestling PPV's too! Right through high school I never missed a PPV or Monday Night Raw. Don't watch it anymore though. Not sure if it lost it's appeal or it started to suck; I'm leaning towards both. I have a few ECW tapes left when Rick Rude used to do commentary with Joey Styles: hysterical!
