(THAILAND) Rahtree: Flower of the Night

Some noob mentioned the sequel to this film in a post a while back and I checked into it to discover that the first film actually had a lot of positive reviews. Took me a long ass time to hunt it down, but I finally did and watched it. Not a bad flick. It's weird, mixing various genres together, and ends up quite entertaining despite its many flaws. Should have a review soon.

Sounds like my type of flick. I love all types of weird films and have been looking for a new one to watch. Especially Thai flicks, which I really should watch more of.

I haven't really found many actually "good" Thai horror films. There are probably only a handful or less that I can think of. They're still playing catch up to the rest of us, but they're getting there.

I like Thai action flicks, I am willing to give their horror a shot.

I like one called "The Ghost of Mae Nak". Its like a romantic comedy and long haired ghost movie with some Final Destination deaths thrown in the mix. It was a pretty entertaining "horror comedy".
