Are you serious? The film was horrible! I mean yeah the gore was fun to watch but to say the dialogue or acting was worthy of anything is really absurd. It's boring and formulaic, and anything that might make it original is handled poorly and thrown in during the last five minutes.Originally Posted by JerkyPuck

Thorn is right, the movie blew, except for the gore. Everything else was amateurish, and downright bad.
Using the same weapon for every kill was weak ass hell.

I will ride this train several more time......watched 3x....I love it. I love Vinnie Jone and I love a meat tenderizer/mallot to the head any day. Throw in some meat hooks...oh yeah...! But hey thats just me.

Also, it has one of the strangest and most abrupt sex scenes i've ever seen on film. It's truly perhaps the least romantic sex scene I can think of.

Enjoyed the FX, especially a few of the slow motion sequences. The script seemed weak. Characters felt transparent. The "why?" explaining felt rushed, like they either left out 5 mins towards the end or Barker needed to make a script deadline. Overall, its worth a rent... but I wouldn't recommend as a buy.
I ended the night by watching 2001 maniacs (also on Fearnet), so it all balances out in the end.
