Zombie Outbreak - Best/Worst Place To Be

In most zombie films, the living are out numbered by the dead and are running away from them in search of a safe place to exist for the rest of their lives. In the original NOTLD we learned the a house with alot of windows is a bad idea and in Dawn, a well secured mall is probably one of the best places to be. If you were to make your owm zombie flick, what location(s) would make for a best place to fight off the undead and also the worst.

The worst IMO would be any house with windows everywhere or in a car that has run out of gas.

Being on a huge Cruise Ship would be bad ass. Then you'd have all the stuff you need plus stuff to do without zombies trying to rip you apart.

best place to be would be a sporting a goods store

:nod: Our mall has a two-story Dick's Sporting Goods anchoring it, complete with a bigass hunting section full of guns, bows, knifes, ect. I figured I'd go classic and always head to the mall first off, then find some way to make it to the family cabin in the Utah mountains.

Worst place though, would be any major metropolis. Las Vegas is one of those, but luckily I live in Henderson, NV which can barely be considered "outskirts" but it would still give me some time.

I think one of the best places would be a walmart supercenter or sam's club because they have food, a place to prepare it, weapons, ammo, and things to keep you sane for quiet times right before the zombies make their way in. The worst place would probably be a rickety old house or out in the open.

All these big super centers are a nice idea in theory, but I personally think it would be better to camp out near a local warehouse or slightly smaller business. On top of a large flat structure would be my favor. What people don't realize is that in a zombie apocolypse, zombies aren't your only enemy. People are every bit as dangerous as zombies are. Let's put it this way. Christmas comes around, and people get trampled trying to get their greedy hands on a freaken furby, you don't think people are gonna fight tooth and nail down to the last can of beans? A place like walmart or the local mall is gonna be complete chaos during the thick of it.

My party would have no welcome to outsiders. We'll help ya out, maybe give ya some supplies, but then we'd send you on your way. I don't cater to the greed of crazed hungry people anymore than I do to the hunger of the undead.

Since I live in WA, I was thinking finding one of those National Forest Service watch towers out in the middle of fuckin' nowhere, I'd bring all the supplies I need. and if I ran out of food, I'd live off the land, making sure I conserve ammo. So I'd see myself fishing a lot. thats my practical plan as of now, if its just me and maybe 2 others, but if it was a huge group, I'd prolly go for one of the MANY small San Juan islands and try to ride it out there. None of my plans are set in stone though, if I think of something better, I'll probably change my plans to that.

I remember a couple of my friends and I were talking about this once. We thought it would be good to stay at one of our houses and board up the place. Then sit on the roof with a couple rifles and just pick a few off coming close :mhehe:

Though, I'd probably say a sporting goods store or a hardware store with a grocery store close by :mhehe:

Best place for me would be in a bar full of guns, ammo, and booze with all my friends and family. We all would be there jamming, getting drunk, daring anything to bust through the door. If I'm going out I don't wanna feel anything.

Worst place would be in front of a hospital, sober, becoming some zombie's brunch.
