After the Sandlot thread, i started thinking of other movies from back in the day

its about this kid trying to save up money to take a girl to a concert working a paper route little does he know the local hoods are aware and jealous of how much money Gunther,lol thats the leads name, is making and they steal is routes..so basically Gunther and his group of misfits try and win their routes back.. lol

Robert Englund is even in it lol
he plays the role of "Crazy Old Man Cooper" and ex vietnam vet who is extremely paranoid..funny fuckin movie

I have a hard time getting into kids movies now-a-days unless I saw and loved it already growing up

I remember this. Disney would show it on like the weekends for the Saturday afternoon movie or something. I don't remember much from it other than he wore like trash can lids and pads so the neighborhood dogs wouldn't eat his ass. It was a good movie I like it. I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

I enjoyed this movie when I was a kid. Though, it's been years since I've seen it. I thought Robert Englund's character was funny in this.

the best part is when one of the hoods(talking to Gunther) is like
"i gotta go..Gunther!"

just in case u dont get it..Gunther kinda sounds like taking a shit..

this is a made for disney tv movie. I remember liking it as a kid. Haven't seen it in forever. Doubt I'd still like it.


I never heard dropping a duece refered to as a " gunther ".
