Of course I saw Night Of the Living Dead on tv when it first came out and it scared the shit out of me.

The other one is the very ending of Carrie when the girl is all dressed in white and putting flowers on Carrie Whites grave and then the hand comes out of the ashes, I had just lost my it at that time. It took me years to watch it again!!!!!!

I was scared of all horror movies when I was younger. I use to hide under a blanket on the scary parts. My son can watch more than I use to.

Cujo, Pet Semetary, The Exorcist, and An American Werewolf In London were definitely the ones that had me in tears as a kid. The only one that gave me a nightmare was Demon Knight, although I didn't find the movie particularly scary.

Pet Sematary and The Shining are the two movies that scared me the most as a kid. Also, pretty much any movie that had to do with zombies or ghosts used to scare the crap out of me.

When i was young it was the scene in NOES where his arms strech across the alley. I think it was so fake looking that it was creepy.

Easy. Trilogy of Terror (the original).

The Zuni Fetish Doll in that movie scared the shit out of me when I was a kid. I vaguely recall being in a movie memorabilia museum and was on my big brother's shoulders (I must've been like six), and at one point, I turned around and was face to face with a glass box displaying that evil little bastard. I almost had a heart attack, but felt an exhilaration because I knew it was a movie, and mostly because I knew it was sealed up in glass, so if it wasn't as fake as everyone told me, it couldn't escape and get me.

Of course my big brother took full advantage of that fear and did the little squeaking voice while he stuck a steak knife under the door when I was in the bathroom a few times, for which I still haven't forgiven him.

    NOES

Darkgod, I know what you mean. The bit where he stretches out his arms, then starts running after Tina, waving like crazy had me cringing. That's probably my favorite scene in the movie.

But the first movie that i rememeber literally scaring me numb was Demons...the scene where the blind guy gets skull/ fingered fucked in the in the sockets..
