The Ending To 1408

For us who have...did you get the ending to this flick? I'm not all that sure.

Was he out the room or was the girl's voice on the tape proof that some things were not just in his mind in that room.

Truly a wicked and mind bending movie.

I loved the ending but from what I've heard I saw a different ending than what was on the dvd and theatrical release.

The one I saw ended with Sam Jackson in a car looking in at a funeral and he adjusts his rear view mirror and a nice jump scare with John Cusack all burnt and scarred.

Wow, not here. This one ended with his daughter's voice on a burnt tape recorder.

I didn't like the movie and don't even remember what the ending was. I probably started doing something around the house while I was watching it.

The funeral ending was a good 'shock scare' moment end, but I think the tape recorder ending was a better suspense closer, more attune to a King book-to-movie approach.

I feel the tape implies it was more than a mind trip... but, I have not exactly researched what the film makers were going for, so its just an opinion.

I saw the one with the jump scene at the end. I did not really like this film.

I saw the tape recorder ending and i think it was one of the best endings in a horror movie ever. Just to show that none of what happened was in his mind.

i dont think i saw the ending cause i got all drunk and havent watched it since. pretty sad since my old man got the 2 disc ed for me the day it came out. *sigh* i think i have a drinking problem
