    I think 1408 was good for plain ol' creepiness. But I'm like others...haven't been "scared" for a long time. The original Phantasm was the last time I remember being truly scared; oh and Ghost Story. But those were years ago.

    Hmm for me it must be the forst time i watched the grudge, i started watching japanese horror as a teen and remember watching the ring, i thought i felt scared when sadako comes out of the tv, but boy did the hairs on the back of my neck raise when i watched the grudge!!

    The last flick that genuinely creeped me out was probably Kairo (2001). Kiyoshi Kurosawa is brilliant at creating atmosphere.

    it may of been just because i was all alone, late at night, with all the lights turned out while watching this movie, but the movie 'Dead Birds' kinda creeped me out.
