the 3d effect saved the movie. In true 80's horror fashion, the movie was filled with good looking (model type) actors and actresses with little to no acting ability.

3d was very cool, and they really took advantage of it.

Caught the flick earlier -- liked it. Good gore, nice 80's feel. Standard premise, half-assed ending. Aside from the gore, the 3D is what really made it as enjoyable as it was. Should have a review soon

The scene where Jamie King's character goes into that old broken down house -- we see her enter the house and find the chocolate, but we don't see her go upstairs (from what I can remember) yet she escapes from the killer by jumping out the 2nd story window?

i caught this on sat night, and thought it was ok. loved the 3d. my old man kept falling asleep tho, and the entire row of pre-teen and teenage girls pissed me off. i had to turn around and tell the kids to be quiet. then they called me sick because i was all yay when people died. i did get a couple of jumps tho.... always nice

The theater put the lights on immediately when the credits rolled and everyone started leaving, including those in my group, so I had to leave too

I dont know myself I looked at the trailer saw it was in 3D and thought it would be a normal WASC type remake. I guess Ill have to check out, you guys say its good, my friends say its surprisingly good. So what the hell.

Well i enjoyed it. Yes the 3-d was awesome. But the story its self was severely lacking. Had it not been in 3-d im not sure i would have liked it as much. I hated the ending. The deaths were pretty sweet however. Im gong to buy the uncut orig. version for sure.

I enjoyed this flick quite a bit. Luckily, I went to the Cinetopia theater in my area. Cinetopia is a theater with leather chairs, foot rests, REAL stadium seating, and you must be 21yrs or older to get in (you can drink beer while watching the movie). Therefore, I didn't have to deal with any of the "barely legals" ruining my movie watching experience.

The thing I didn't like about the movie was that it seemed like it abandoned the whole Valentines Day theme too quickly. The theme of the holiday was MUCH more apparent in the original film.

That being said, it was still a solid and entertaining slasher. It stayed pretty true to the original, without being a page by page remake and added it's own new elements as well. The gore was outstanding, and the 3D effects were waaaay killer (pun intended)!

a solid 8/10 rating from me.

The funnest horror movie I've been to in many years. The gore was fantastic and the 3D was a blast. It's a great movie I would still enjoy very much even without the 3D. I'll be picking this up when it's released. Solid job, recommended.
