Just got back from it and I give it a 6/10 and thats being nice.
And I actually liked all previous 4. It's like they completely missed the mark with this one.
They should have kept the same director. It totally made the feel from the film different from the rest of the series. kinda made it felt like it was fan made film or some shit. They even fucked up the score through out the movie it felt like.
The gore and the traps were fucking brutal though. So if you're a gorehound, DEFINITELY check this movie out.
I always liked them because they could always get in tons of gore and have a good story line and twists.
I dunno. I'll have to go see it again sometime, maybe I'll like it better then. I didn't like the fourth one until I saw it the second time. But who knows. Looking forward to the next one still.

Just got back from it. The traps and blood were badass but trust me...that is the only thing cool about this movie. If you thought Saw 4 sucked then skip this by all means because its a hell of alot worse than 4 imo.

"Saw" it last night and thought it was great. But I also think the Saw movies have just gotten better and better. More of a compilation of scenes depicting a tie up of every loose end thus far then a stand alone movie, it was still very clever and a great watch.

Also I have gone to all of the SAW movies by myself and I have enjoyed every one of them so far, I guess you don't have to go w/ anyone to go see any of these movies, just maybe to ask questions though,
Also I have been very impressed by the ways they have made all of the sequels to this movie and have nvr seen a movie like this before and believe me I have rented many b horror movies also.

As usual the 'games' are the only redeeming factor of this film, but sadly the games are split up into like five parts and we see one every 20 minutes or so in between the awful and shark jumping attempts to make a clever twisting plot.

I'd recommend to wait for someone to put a high definition edit of the games strung together on youtube.

I ended up checking it out earlier today and it actually turned out better than expected couple of pretty cool kills by the trap's but there could've been a few more. It's better than 3 and 4 and one of my fav's since the 1st and 2nd film's probably worth a look if your a fan of the franchise.

IMO Big let down.. Not enough action, sure it covered some loose ends from the previous movies but it just seemed so repetitive. I guess I was looking for the same feeling I felt when I saw the first one.
