uhgg, the first one sucked soooo much. Maybe if they make a second one somthing will actually happen in the movie. That first one bored me to tears, and the only cool part was when that chick got her skin torn off and thrown at the giant doors. Stupid ending too.

Compared to most movie adaptations of videogames I'd say not. It came very close, to what the game was. At least they didnt make up some crazy plot for it like they did with the Resident Evil movies. Or the fact Uwe Boll DIDN'T direct it haha.

Couldnt have said it any better. Although they did change alot, still not as much as most. There really was no point for pyrimid head. She didnt do anything to punish herself about......He just seemed put in for fans.

The atmosphere was pretty spot on, the monsters were great (though I'm going to have to diss PH in this one because the SH2 game one looks more beautiful and scary)...The characters were shit, the story overall was MEGA shit.

I wouldn't mind having Gans come back to direct (if not why not Clive Barker, IMO), but keep Avery or any shitball writer out of this production, if any writer they should get, in my honest opinion, George Romero, yeah I know he was offered RE and his version would rip Paul WS Anderson's balls off and jab them down his throat and George is the zombie guy, but he has more expansion to his creativity than just the flesh-eating zombie genre we all know and love.

They should start from scratch and learn from their errors...which is hardly the case. I really wouldn't mind seeing something ORIGINAL done with Silent Hill myself, but not in a Paul Anderson way, just slide in some original abstract monsters, they did it in SH: Origins.

I'll watch a second one, only if it's improved.
