its officially PG-13 and they've completely changed the plot so I now have little faith in this. but I'll end up seeing it anyway cuz I never thought I'd see Brad Pitt in a zombie movie. But like I said. I hold out little faith it'll be good.

I'm trying to hold all judgement until I actually see this one, still should have been done as an HBO miniseries, but this isn't a perfect world.

Brad Pitt has reached the point where he doesn't have to act to make money, he can portray the roles he wants without worry of judgement or compensation (Similar to George Clooney). I think that if this film happens, he will give his all, and make it as badass as he possibly can.

How can you say this book sucked? Even if you took the zombies out of it, and made it a biography of a "normal" war, it was still an incredible read. The fact that it was about the zombie apocalypse only made it better. I loved this book when it first came out, and I anxiously await the film.

The book is marmite you love or you hate, I personally love it, brad Pitt on the other hand well to me he is 50/50 I think he Is a decent actor and Has been lucky in what he has been casted in, seeing the stuff he has been in I get the feeling he will play a world war z vet maybe general telling us in video memory how he single handedly wiped out the zombie scourge and it will be more Shaun of the dead than dawn of the dead which is a shame imo, I'd like to see it done docu-drama style in keeping with the tone of the book

The Zombie Survival Guide (which if you can't see how amazing the satire/seriousness of the book is you are a fool)
and World War Z

Since you never read WWZ I assume you didn't like the Zombie Survival Guide?

I love Max Brooks' first book, but the second was beyond boring. The movie must stray away from the book or else it's going to have people falling asleep in the theaters.

I didn't really like The Zombie Survival Guide. The book had too much hype around it and when I finally read it I just didn't really get into it. And from what everyone else says the second book doesn't seem to be worth reading. And Max Brooks just bothers me in general. In the interveiws and shows I've seen him on he's annoying.

Yeah, I get a lot of older people telling me that I look like I stepped out of the 80's. So when me and my buddy went up to meet him, he looked like he was in shock. He said "Holy crap my 9th grade class just walked up". Then he bullshitted with us for a few minutes since we were the last in line to meet him.

From what I saw on the Official Trailer on Youtube it appears it will have running zombies in it
