Today the family went to see it. I stayed home figuring it'd be some even more idiotic rehash of "The Day After Tommorrow" or ""War of the Worlds". From what I'm hearing, sounds like I made a good move.

well, just watched this one at the theater, and it is badddddddddd!!! So, as opposed to watching this flick, just go to the nearest toilet, cash in hand and drop it in--then flush. That's what you would be doing if you spent (like I did) any amount of $$$ to see this one----skip it!!!
