I do know you're an odd one, that likes young boys, says weird things, and you dropped a recent post in the Giallo thread at BD, which I check every few months, because eek, it's Giallo related!! Saw the post clicked the profile and had a laugh, thats the extent of it.
Spending 1000's of hours on people's profiles here seems to have made you even less stable than b4.

I'm definitely one of the more guilty people when it comes to downloading considering that, my CG profile says I've downloaded about 300 gigs worth of movies.
Though I don't see what Ron did was wrong or giving CG grief. All he did was ask that his movie get taken off, and he was met with hostile responses. It's not like he's trying to shut down the site, he just didn't want his stuff up there.
I don't understand why that is supposedly a "dick move" on his part.

Why the fuck do you care... I don't have to explain anything in my life to you. I visit several message boards. You told me to ''go die'' I haven't bothered with you or your threads.. you come over into my profile pages and constantly fuck with me. I don't give a shit what you think of me...wierd...so the fuck what..1000's of hours on profile pages...checking steelba..huh..who's weird now.

well back on topic, which is how i'll stay from now on., not gonna clutter up this thread anymore.
If thats all he did then thats cool but I remember him being quite peeved a while back and talking about taking legal action on the forums here. It's prefectly fine to have his film removed, but in this day and age piracy is gonna happen to every film, Hostel 2 is a prime example. Although that was apparently leaked by someone who worked on the film...
Either way I hope the movie does well and I doubt the cinemaG thing hurt it any.

I think the more accessible studios make their films available online for rent or purchase, the less we'll see of piracy. I know if theatrical releases were also available for purchase and view online the minute they hit theaters that I'd just stay at home and watch'em, but then again, I'm lazy

Yes, some movies are even distributed through downloading, of course it's not stealing then smartass.
I don't care if YOU wanna download The Gateway Meat or not, it doesn't change the fact that downloading that movie and alot of others IS stealing.
There is a little bit of human left in you

The missing part of the CG drama is that I asked them nicely to remove my films and they told me to go fuck myself. Not Nice. I have no intentions nor the time or resourses to go after them. I just wish that if a filmmaker asked them politely to stop seeding thier film I think they should respect the copyright owner of the material. I want people to see my movies but I also need to break even to make another. Can you really blame me for being upset about the fact that they were so rude and disrespectful to me. They never explain that part. I don't fly off the handle without reason.

Well that is pretty shitty right there, atleast you tried to be nice. On the plus side anyone who saw it there and liked it will likely buy it. I saw the Descent via download, then watched it when it hit theatres with friends, and bought the unrated DVD when it was released :thumbup3:

People are finding the film regardless. These things just take time. I've actually been offered a couple of small distro deals but the companies wanted to own the shit flat out for next to nothing. I decided to do the foot work myself. It is a slow process but rewarding. It IS important for small guys to protect themselves if they are to make films that are worthy. This stuff take alot of time and money especially when you use as many SFXs as we do. ALL of our gore is made from lifecast of actors so you do a bust of someone and then throw into the trash 90-100 dollars of spent alginate and plaster bandages. The you make a mold that cost roughly 50-80 dollars you will use 1-3 times and then never use again. Multiply this roughly 15-20 times and then I don't know you've spent alot of loot. This shit don't happen over night either. The Gateway Meat took 2 years to finish and was made with love, anger and passion.
