    It was sort of ok, I agree it strived to be hip, not with the way the characters spoke but their personalities.

    And I know it's not entirely the film's fault, but a month after it's release, my entire high school was like "omg I HATE Sonic Youth! and I love Kimya Dawson and Moldy Peaches!" (and they'd only know the songs from the film).

    I enjoyed the film, but I agree that a lot of the dialogue felt forced and begged to be hip.

    Writer Diablo Cody, revealed her huge ego and snapped, writing a rant against posters on imdb and other sites that criticized her writing. So it was oscar winner vs. DarthMaulluv3r5678 http://gawker.com/5051779/diablo-cod...od-bragosphere


    Jason Reitman's previous film "Thank you For Smoking" Is also very funny. I'm looking forward to any future projects.
