I don't think Stalone ever said he was finished with Rambo...but he definitely did say that was the last Rocky.

Granted, movies don't need sequals. 300 2? Oh god....

But then again some movies are so interesting that we could listen to their stories play out in millions of different ways.

    I agree with you totally...

Forgot to add in analysis of S. Darko.

Really what more needs to be done. The first film was a solid stand alone film and nobody involved in the creative process except for Daveigh Chase is or wants to be involved with this sequel.

Im no Donnie Darko fanboy but I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and of movies with its intangibles I really don't see any legit reason for that movie being made.

Movies like this and Butterfly Effect have no reason to have a sequel, they end with a clear resolution. Still im wasting effort saying whats been said before. Those types of things never stopped them before.

Nevertheless it has to make a return profit and I doubt S. Darko does that with Daveigh Chase at the helm. Now if they brought back Jake in some lame fashion, I could see some cult fans biting at it but he ain't coming back.

That article is old. About half of those sequels already came out.

P:WZ sucked. Only worthwhile part (worthwhile for a laugh) was when the dude flipped from one building to the next and got hit by the rocket.

Put me down for Rambo, Nat'l Treasure, Toy Story, Cars (Kids have made me a sucker for Pixar)
