I saw 100 Feet last night and was a little lost with the movie. We know the husband was abusive and she killed him, but I guess he was also possessive with her.

She had the whole time to throw away the ring...why didn't she just give the ring to the cop guy or flush it down the toilet?

The husband blew up when she threw the ring to him at the end, it was a lame ending to end the movie...and why did the cop tell her to run away if he knows the house was haunted? She wouldn't have been in any trouble if the cop knew her husband was the one that kill the kid.

And when the cop was knocking on her door during one scene, why didn't she just run out and open the door for him? She had her monitor foot inside the house while trying to reach for the front door to open it for the cop who is in charge of looking after her...was she afraid he would book her for opening the door for him and crossing the 100 feet line?
