Okay so heres the list of films and with a short review of the ones I saw while at Sundance.
Max & Mary
Plot: A Claymation film in which a penpal friendship is started between a 44 year old New Yorker and an 8 year old Austrailian.
Short Review: I will begin this by saying that I hate animation/claymation I just don't like it, but this film kinda blew me away and how it was so sentimental and just truthful to the audience, but beware this is intended for Adults and not a film for children. It is beautifully made, and just takes you on these lives that you become so invested in it.
Voice Cast: Phillip Seymore Hoffman, Toni Collette, and Eric Bana.
Rating: 8/10
Sin Nombre
Plot: A former gang member of MS13 must flee after killing the leader of the gang, after saving a young woman from being raped by him.
Short Review: Watching this movie I get a huge feel of CITY OF GOD, but its completely different, this is the directors first feature but feels as if hes on a level of Speilberg or those with alot more notches in their belt. Its acted with great power and emotion by the mostly new cast of new comers. There are scenes that are just so great like on the train. Its a really good film.

Tyson
Plot: Yup that Tyson, Mike Tyson. Its a Documentary with him explaining all the moments in his life.
Short Review: Its quite possibly the greatest documentary I've ever seen in my life. Its so brilliant, it offers so much insight into the Quiet Giant, and it leaves its viewers with so much respect for the man. Its sentimental, hilarious, inspiring, its everything I could've asked for in a film.

Don't Let me Drown
Plot: High Schoolers fall in love, while set to a backdrop of 9/11.
Short Review: Its just a really cute film. It connects so much to me, and it is almost like they took some of the conversations I have had with my own friends and put the on screen. The cast of new comers are amazing, and we see a few familiar faces that bring this simple story that becomes to unravel and become something deeper. There were certain things I wish would've happened, and some story lines are not resolved but it doesn't matter, because at the end you know that these two can make it.

Grace
Plot: After getting into a horrible car accident a woman loses her baby, but still decides to have it to full term, but when she delivers the baby, it is alive, and something is different.
Short Review: I can't say enough things about how amazing this film is. About how great it is. About how it WILL change the genre. Its good, its so scary its good. It taps into so many things that all films wish it had the balls too. Its a serious B-Movie but don't let that distract you. Its relentless, its a reinvention of a dead genre, its just a movie that has so much balls. No cheap scares here. This is the real thing. Believe Me.

THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION OF LITTLE DIZZLE
Plot: After taking a job as a janitor at a product testing lab a young man discovers that he is pregnant, but with what?
Short Review: What a tired, boring, very unfunny comedy. Its just not that good, it tries to be. The director is one of those artsy guys who tries to basically make art out of a stoner comedy. And the problem is a mixture that is so horrible. It tries to be many things. Its overlong, overmessaged, just over. But it is nice to see Natasha Lyone in something. With a few edits it will be good, just lose all the experimental mumble jumble.

Paper Heart
Plot: Mockumentary with real documentary footage about a young girls quest to see if love really exists.
Short Review: Cute film. Lovely film. Predictable film. I think it would've worked so well without all the freaking mock stuff. It worked so well as a documentary. Like really well. But once they added the storylines it felt so rushed, so predictable, so fake.

All in all it was a good trip. Good Life. I loved everything about this it kinda goes into general chatter and i'm sorry about that but it was a MOVIE experience lol.
