Any George A Romero fan would agree that the only relation the "remake" of Dawn of the Dead had to the original was that it took place in a mall. Also, zombies aren't fast paced (the idea is ripped from Boyle's infected) and that although Dawn of the Dead had it's moments like the live-still birth, it is not a good remake. As a movie by itself, it is decent. However, you are entitled to your opinion. The original surpassed it alone, not only in originality, but also in its social commentary. It didn't even have the bikers from the original, but of course you would know that, had you seen the original, or had an idea of what zombies are... it's ok, you'll learn eventually.
