Example: The Shining (I'm just gonna bash your brains out) or anything Loomis says "I tried to burn him to hell but in my heart, I knew hell would not take him"

Anything with the eyes or teeth.
Ghosts/possession.
Rape.

Things that don't:
Shitty American remakes of Japanese movies.
Shaky camera/monsters that jump frames. (Actually, that just pisses me off)

Brutal cat and mouse tactics mixed with a sound track that raises tension in the scene.

Romero zombies. End of Day of the Dead was freaky as hell.To be surrounded by all those zombies with no where to run...creepy.

oh yah totally agree on that and the scene with the man in white with the knife gives me the chills. That movie is creepy in general. Great Movie

I'm gonna have to add Statues to the list! after having watched so many italian horror movies, and the zoom in on those things...yeah they officially creep the H outta me.

Things that Do:
The scariest thing for me is usually the unknown, sometimes not seeing the monster or bad guy (whatever you wanna call it) is a good thing. Seeing it is sometimes disappointing and takes the scariness out of it.
Also, when people are stuck in close, confined spaces it seems to creep me out. A good example is in "The Decent" when their climbing through those narrow tunnels.

Maggots, something about Maggots! I can't stand Maggots, dunno why, but they're the one thing I can't handle. That scene in Feast where the guy had maggots in his eye, I gag just thinking about it.

Things that don't:

Not really much else bugs me. Spent 8+ years in the Army and saw enough gore, really sick stuff, that not much bugs me. Though people on fire does bother me a bit, but that's kinda a personal story.

another thing that bothers me is Dana Kimmel's monologue in F13 pt 3. Her delivery just irritates the hell out of me.
