Didn't we already have a Nikki Reed stalker on here or are you the same person? Either way I'm pretty sure we all know the differences between vampires and werewolves. The idea of werewolves becoming the "new vampires" was an obvious comparrison to the vampires popularity as of late.

Anything posted becomes a potential topic of discussion. Thats sort of basic forum life.
You stated you are a real werweolf fan, but knocked just about every "known" werewolf film mentioned thus far in this thread. Its only natural that something like that would raise a few eyebrows around a place like this.
To address the question at hand, no werewolves will not approach vampire status. Though werewolves are well liked in certain circles, their applications in films is far less flexable then the modern day vampire concepts (or zombies, for that matter). A great classical movie monster, yes, but destined to take a back seat to a few other classical monsters.
Always the sidekick, never the hero. *shrug*
