I see it starting out at the hospital. With him probably finishing off Daniel Harris. the only thing I didn't like about the first one was how Zombie wrote Loomis. Other than that it was a good movie. I can't wait to see what happens in the next one.

Malcolm McDowell has never actually watched the original Halloween and this is probably why y'all didnt like him, he made Loomis thru his own interpretation which when you think about it is what Donald Pleasance did. BUT i was a little mad that he didnt call Michael "Pure Evil"....

I think it really shouldn't happen..because why remake a whole series? Honestly. That sounds redundant(sp?) and should be left alone. Plus didn't that annoying skank blow his head off?!? I mean its pretty hard to miss at point blank range..am I correct? Besides the blood splatter...yeah. I mean if michael survived..he's going to have some pretty bad hand-eye corridination, and mobility. But then again look at Jason V. ....oh well. I just beileve in my own opinion that it shouldn't be done for obvious reasons.

Which puts into another question of mine. Its been a long time since I watched the whole halloween series..but..how does Michael keep coming back to life. I mean he's pretty human if you ask me. I may sound dumb right now, because I'm just not sure how..but still?

You could say he is kept alive through the thorn curse. Outside of those entries, there is no plausible explanation.

I personally enjoyed the thorn curse aspect of those entries which brings me towards leaning on Part 6 as the best of those 3 movies, especially the producers cut. It's not that I really cared or needed an explanation but I found the whole aspect of the curse pretty cool for some reason as well as it seemed Myers was his most vicious in Part 6.

Jason was human through Parts 2-4, he dies and upon return in Part 6, he is officially the indestructible zombie Jason that so many peeps associate the character more with especially pop culture wise.

What really bugs me about Rob's take on halloween is that he is really just stealing a really good movie, and doing his own thing with it. He includes very little that was in the original: stalking, lush scenery, mystery, etc.

There was no rape in the original, there were no hicks, there was no REASON for michael's behaviour, no flashbacks, and the new loomis sucks.

The original contrasted the terror of michael (near the end) with the beauty of the scenery (in the beginning). Michael was an exercise in fear, (shown through the halloween holiday), and nothing more.

Rob just imported the Devils Rejects cast into halloween, and called it a "remake". To give a background to michael myers really takes away from the movie. Remember what Loomis was saying the entire movie? "Evil, he's evil, I sat there and watched him for 15 years, and he just stared at the wall, no, not at the wall, through the wall, to THIS NIGHT"!!!

But no, Rob has to "explain" michael's beginnings, and all that crap. God, the only thing Rob got right was the mask.

Nomad just got in touch with what some would say is some pretty startling news from the set of Halloween 2 -- effects genius Wayne Toth, producer Andy Gould, and even Malek Akkad himself have all confirmed that Michael Myers will spend "a great portion" of the sequel unmasked.

What that means at this point is anyone's guess. Before you get your panties in too much of a bunch we ask that you remember this -- technically speaking Myers spent "a great portion" of the remake maskless as well.
