Awesome clip, but they edited two lines. "...and all the whores and politicians..." and "The original Silk Spectre is a bloated, aging whore, dying in a Californian rest resort," are the actual lines from the book.

What Fox did for Wolverine, the NBC family of networks will do for Watchmen (sorta.) Six montages featuring the main cast of heroes will be shown from March 1st to March 5th.

* March 1 – Clip montage featuring Dr. Manhattan airs exclusively during "National Treasure" on USA Network.
* March 2 – Clip montage featuring Rorschach airs exclusively during "Heroes" on NBC.
* March 4 – Clip montage featuring Ozymandias airs exclusively during "Ghost Hunters International" on SCI FI.
* March 5 – Clip montage featuring Nite Owl airs exclusively during "Battlestar Galactica" on SCI FI.
* March 5 – Clip montage featuring Silk Spectre II airs exclusively during "Burn Notice" on USA Network.
* March 5 – Clip montage featuring The Comedian airs exclusively during "30 Rock" on NBC.

Following the on air showing, the clips will be available on this site http://www.nbc.com/watchmen/. Just sucks I'll have to watch a Nic Cage movie, but hey, that's what fans do.

EDIT: Ah fuck. I was watching National Treasure and the first commercial break featured a Rorschach centered TV spot. I thought that was the montage, but had I watched more, I would have seen the Dr. Manhattan montage. Damn you, USA!

Saw the movie last night...not impressed. Very dense storytelling and three hours of former superheroes talking about cool things they used to do. The scenes that are good are really good, but there's not enough to make up for the redundant, campy, and never ending dialogue

It's not supposed to be action driven. It's much more about the characters, so there's going to be a lot of dialogue.

Guess I just felt that Snyder was so concerned about making sure that it was as faithful to the graphic novel as possible that he sacrificed any sort of film structure and ignored the fact that not everything that works on paper can work on screen. it was just a big disappointment for me
