Punisher: War Zone

Badly written and predictable, but still a sweet F'n movie. Pure entertainment from start to finish. The gore is cheesy and over-the-top and so are some of the action sequences, but that's exactly what they were goin' for. I had fun watching it; bring on a sequel!

Better yet, how about The Punisher taking' on zombies

best punisher flick to date. I went in expecting crap and had an absolute blast with this movie. I can't wait to own it on DVD. I'd love to see a sequal but it'll never happen cuz the movie tanked. Then again maybe if it does well on DVD....

The story was far too shity for me to like it. It was bloody and violent which is great, but there was no story and character development so I didn't give a damn about anyone in the movie.

Jigsaw was one of the worst villains I've ever seen.

He wanted to do another movie, but it just never got off the ground. LGF decided that it would just be best to re-start. And it was the best thing possible. His movie didn't get the character. It's a revenge story with a character that's seemingly familiar to Frank Castle. Frank Castle does not move fire hydrants, place ear rings in beds, or get his enemies to do the killing. Castle does one thing. KILL. Punisher: War Zone understood that.

I thought this movie was entertaining....much more than Janes version. Both were alright. War Zone just felt more like how the punisher should be. 7/10
