Scream 4 is in the works!!!!

David Arquette, Courteney Cox, and Neve Campbell have all been made offers to play cameos in the 4th Scream film.

With original Scream screenwriter Kevin Williamson on board, it's only a matter of time before Wes Craven hops on to direct!

Reports are saying that the legendary horror film director may or may not return to direct the 4th addition to the Scream saga, noting it would take the new script "being really as good a script as the first one was."

Williamson better nail it with the new script because we can't see the Scream franchise surviving without Craven!!

Especially horror news, and this article doesn't even offer anything we shouldn't already know anyway. A sequel has been "talked about" for several years; it's only recently that sites are starting to post more about it for whatever reason.

True, and why do another? I realize that Hollywood has lost idea and innovation (with a rare exceptionand I don't want to have to look Underground for stuff, which is okay,k but our genre need to be terrifying mainstream again) but do thy think that Scream 4 would bring them the money? Hell, it probably will. Based solely upon namesake. Effin Hollywood. Ge some new ideas! Gice us something worthy! Damn you, scare us again! (And I don' mean that in a Rosie O'Donnell sex film kinda of way.) Give us something to talk about. Something that makes us scared to sleep. Makes us talk. Makes us check our back seats again before we get in our cars!
