Recently finished Sword Art Online Season 1: First 15 episodes are a great story, the rest is good, but not nearly as good.

Initial D: Final Stage
...just started the final, fourth episode. It's been the same downhill for all four episodes. That's nearly two hours devoted to one downhill race. Unbelievable. I must have just kept watching so that I'd seen it all and it was complete. Such a repetitive show. They got better about how they did the cars, a lot better since Stage 5, but the rest of it besides a few sub-plots was just the same bullshit exposition and time filled with not really a whole lot happening.
Not gonna be bothering with the Final Stage movie. I do hope the sequel live action film happens though. That was actually better than the anime series and better than any of the F&F films too, since it featured, you know, racing and not just excuses to crash cars.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I have Lain downloaded and really didnt get into the first episode. But that does tend to happen with me and anime, so i do plan on forcing myself to watch at least half a dozen episodes to see where it goes.
In the meantime i am on episode 20 of Attack on Titan and im enjoying it. I dont mind the art style, it is what it is. Nothing special but acceptable. Story is pretty good, as with much anime its a typical scifi type story but done by fucking lunatics, which is fantastic.
I will say it reminded me of a pet peeve of mine, which is having a 22 minute show where five to six minutes is taken up by japanese pop metal intro's and outtro's.

As related to my complaint above i just found a nice little add on for VLC.

It allows you to set a specific time for your episodes on your playlist to start and end, specially designed to skip intro's and outtro's.

Hey, so you guys should REALLY check out "Junji Ito Collection". You'll be put off by its unfortunately goofy first episode, but the rest of it is haunting.
