Why boycott a good film just because of the rating? I understand you not liking a film because of a PG-13 rating and it is soul-less (The Fog and Prom Night are prime examples) but for a film that is a breath of fresh air in the genre, your not supporting the rating of the film your supporting the quality of it.

People need to stop being such pretentious horror fans when it comes to PG-13 ratings, if it looks good it looks good; fuck the rating. I can safely say you won't even notice the rating as I'm amazed they got away with some of the stuff they did in Drag Me to Hell.

Don't get me wrong I enjoy T&A and gore as much as anyone but come on that isn't true horror.

Fuck man some of the greatest horror movies of all time have minimal T&A and gore. Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Poltergeist and Halloween are prime examples.

Sorry Slayer, I refuse to watch PG-13 horror movies. Last couple that I've tried to watch I completely hated them. I'm sure I'll still check it out, just not in the theaters.

Saw it this morning. Was better then I was expecting. Was not anything "Groundbreaking." The Laminit,cant spell it, was done really really well I thought. It was much better then almost all Neo PG-13 horror movies. Some really nasty stuff.

Checked it out earlier this mourning. I thought it was a pretty good all around flick. Like Otep stated its nothing "groundbreaking" or anything but a very solid flick. Pretty good humor, acting, a few "woah" moments.

I thought the ridiculous scares sorta fit for a horror movie by Sam Raimi. All throughout I was reminded of "Evil Dead". I was even expecting someone to use a shotgun. Some of it was also tongue-in-cheek. But overall, a good time.

What's wrong with gross-out horror? People in the audience were saying, "Delicious."

Checked it out Night before. Wasent bad.Was Very Entertaining atleast.
Would have been much better with less CG (as always, in my opinion).
The CG effects always just dont quite Fit.
Had some Good Scenes though. Some classic 'GrossOut' and Humor.

You can have your torture porn, mass kiliings, and such. Raimi knows it's all cliched so why not have some fun. Any fan of the Evil Dead series understands and appreciates Raimi's take on the genre.

DMTH is a better movie than the utter crapola nowadays....i'm talking all movies...just not horror.

In addition, I'd like to say that all the actors did a fabulous job. I have been waiting for Justin Long to take part in another horror since JC, and once again, did an awesome job. Believeable as they come. And Lorna Raver - marvellous! The woman scared the s**t outta me....lol

Sam has restored my faith that the genre is still alive, just needs a little resuscitation.
