Dates for "Nightmare on Elm Street" & "Final Destination"

A release date has been set for the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, which is scheduled to begin filming sometime next month in Chicago. You can expect to see Freddy on the big screen once again on April 16, 2010. So far there's no official word on who will be taking over the iconic glove.

Also, Final Destination: Death Trip 3D has had a slight date shift, moving forward a week from August 21st to August 14th '09. You can find more details and photos for the film here.

I had originally heard that Billy Bob Thornton was being looked at to play Krueger. Then I heard it was confirmed that he accepted the role. But I guess my source don't know their arse from a hole in the ground.
So i apologize to all for commenting earlier of my confirmation on Mr. Thornton being Fred Krueger.
