I've been waiting for this movie since I first heard about it a couple years back, but now after having finally seen it, I have to say that it wasn't as good as I had hoped. It's not a bad flick, but there really isn't anything special about it. Sadly, much like a lot of other hitman-type flicks there's a lot of lost potential, either due to predictability, clichés, and/or lackluster sequences.

Rourke's character is pretty badass and Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character was decent, but a little too over-dramatic at times. I guess I just expected a lot more from this film. Not to mention that it does have a number of plot-holes that are probably due to the fact that it has gone through a number of reshoots and cuts. Either way, I enjoyed the flick, mostly because of Rourke's performance and it was fairly violent in the scenes that called for it.

I saw this film today...awesome, fantastic..All the characters were stronge and fasinating to watch.Joseph Gordon-Levitt was just wild! Cute and in cowboy boots..yummy! Mickey was absolutly WOW! Diane Lane..beautiful as always..stronge character....Thomas Jane never lets me down.....8/10 from ME!!

I struggled with this movie. The accent that Mickey Rourke is pushing is inconsistent. At times he is just talking in his usual gravelly voice.

It is too bad Diane Lane is limited to such roles. She generates the heat, but that is just about all she is being asked to do here.

I am still working through my forgiveness issues with Thomas Jane over that Punisher debacle. Seriously.

I could have used some more Rosario in there too. Her Elvis fetish was interesting, yet unexplained.

I have to give it a 5. I saw that ending coming from several miles outside of Detroit.

I have to agree with Rourke's accent. Other than the plot holes throughout the movie it's a fairly decent flick. I would give it a 6.5/10 just because I was expecting so much more.
