Dr. House ranks no.1 in my list of TV doctors. His innate sense of sarcasm and towering medical knowledge is truly unmatched. The fact that has good intentions but ends up taking the wrong approach makes him the ultimate "chaotic good". I especially love when he busts his patients' common myths about diseases and food.

Superstore. Again. This now makes my fourth or fifth time binge-watching the entire series to date. I don't know why. It's not the funniest show on TV, it doesn't have a superstar cast, it's not laugh-out-loud hilarious, it's more than a little formulaic. But I can't stop watching the damn thing.

The Guest Book. I'd never heard of the show but discovered it last week. Has a strong "My Name is Earl" vibe (which is to be expected, considering it was created by the same guy) but I find its overuse of vulgarity off-putting. I'm no prude by any stretch, but the sexual humor is frequently juvenile and embarrassing. There are some really good, funny and even touching episodes, such as the one with Michael Rappaport as a quirky middle-aged geek trying to woo a Millennial crush, or the one with Jenna Fischer as a therapist whose radical Alzheimer-reversing therapy reveals behavior in one patient that would have been best left forgotten, or the one with Jaime Pressly as a former porn queen trying to hide her past from the sweet single father she's fallen for. But for the most part the relentless sexual crudity undermines what could otherwise be a very funny show.
And that was just the first season. The second season opener is even worse with the surprisingly graphic sexual "humor." I doubt I'll be bothering with it anymore.

Currently working through the second season of Making a Murderer. Gotta love true crime documentaries...
