Orphan Black (season finale #1)

I just finished out the first season. Really entertaining. My new favorite show until Hannibal and Game of Thrones comes back.

What I want to know is why has this Tatiana actress been playing bit parts and small films and mostly episodes here and there of television since 1997? I mean, great, that's what lead to her playing these characters in such an entertaining show but, goddamn, she is one of the most talented no names to have slipped through the fingers of casting directors for almost two decades now. We were all sitting around trying to think of other actresses, well known actress, Oscar winning actresses, who could pull something like this off. It was a really short list and I'm not confident that any of the names the other folks came up with could do it. Because each and every clone is different down to the subtlest of mannerism.

It makes what Johnny Depp does for Tim Burton movies look like community theater bullshit.

Yeah, crazy. They're all different though, every episode. Very Twilight Zone, without the narrator. They're quite the indictment of the online generation and it's an uncomfortable feeling knowing it's not much of a stretch as far as where things are and where they could be soon and how guilty we all are in the behaviors I've seen so far.

Agreed - Twilight Zone-esque is fair, but probably closer to the 90's Outer Limits IMO, albeit the 2 are not that far removed from each other really.

Just how timely was that second episode?! Kind of reminiscent of Bradbury's story The Murderer

It originally aired on Showtime back in the day, and was the primary reason I had suscribed to the channel.

Although The Twilight Zone in many ways is my favorite series; The 90's Outer Limits easily runs neck in neck with it. Throw in the modern spin on the stories, and many prominent well known actors (many reoccuring - and a few reoccuring as the same character in later episodes) allows the anthology series to surpass TZ on some levels. Seen every ep. of every season on initial run. Phenomenal.

I think she was a sex crazed alien possessed type of thing if i remember right. Robot themes were pretty high volume on the show as well as aliens. Amanda Plummer had a reoccuring same character role with time travel... right down to the season 6 finale - which included as well the best actor of all time in that ep.
