24 Season 7

Looking forward to the 2 hour premiere tonight and tomorrow night. One of the cool things 24 does is give you 4 hours right at the start of the season to get things going.

Last season was very weak and I was a little skeptical about the Tony Almeda storyline for season 7 but Redemption was good and the season has been getting positive reviews.

One thing I hope is they focus a little less on external threats rather than internal government corruption related terror plots.

We'll probably have a little of both.

Always interesting casting with 24 as well with Janine Garafolo joining the cast. Sorta weird that she would join such a show due to her extreme far-left views. Guess money talks.

Anyways looking forward to this season.

First 2 eps were pretty good, probably not as much action and compelling moments as previous 24 premiers but seems like they have the foundation for some solid story lines for the season.

Feel like they built the first 2 eps too much around the moment where Jack encounters Tony and since everyone already knew that it wasn't as big of a moment.

I like how they didn't try to pack too much in the first two eps like they normally do. It shows that they don't need a shock-and-awe-type moment all the time, especially when it seems like they're taking things a bit overboard too early in the season.

I was actually surprised that Jack caught up to Tony so quickly. I figured they'd at least take a handful more eps for their first encounter, but it just shows that the series isn't exactly as predictable as one would think, even after all this time.

Getting tired of the whole "mole" sub-plot. They seem to have a mole in every season and it's pretty tiring.

Good stuff in both episode's so far at least the mole wasn't in CTU this time around due that there isn't one in this season.

I figured Tony wasn't actually a bad guy in the show, I'm just once again surprised that they revealed it so early on.

Yeah I think that's a much better story than him just going bad. Glad to see Buchanan back.

Now it makes more sense that they brought Tony back, considering Jack is now infected, he has to sit out on a lot of the action, giving more spotlight to Tony.

My guess is that they may find some way to (if not cure it), treat the virus to where it's at some sort of dormant state, because it's obvious they're not just have Jack die in that manner.
