Well damn I was actually excited about this movie until I started reading some of the stuff on here...oh well. At least it saved me from a blind buy.

The first thing that stopped me from getting it was the $30 price tag that the FYE in my area has on it.

This I know , and is true they have been ripping off buyers, but there have been rare instances where you can find relatively good buys out of that place. Besides this is the only store in my area where you can get some pretty hard to find titles

Thank goodness for Netflix. I have heart complete 50/50 views on this film. I'm not as harsh on slashers as most people, but I can recognize when these movies had potential and failed.

Laid to Rest is possibly one of the shittiest movies I've seen. The most discoherent plot-challenged movie.... the gore was really realistic and good, but in no way made up for the bad acting, bad plot, lame killer, and atrocious editing.


AND the killer's mask is just the rabbit from Donnie Darko, but without the ears.

My brother just gave me his DVD, now I know the movie is crap, since my brother never gives his DVDs away. I'll still give the movie a shot in the next couple of days

watched it last night. Cool killer and absolutly great special effects. The kill in the window was just great. But the movie itsself was pretty damn forgettable. Noone in the entire town has a phone for some reason. they rarely ever run into other people, its like the whole towns deserted. And the ending? WTF was up with that. You've got to be kidding me.

Horrible movie, and a completely inaccurate rating from Apoc :thumbsdown:

The dialogue was atrocious, the gore fx were cheap, the acting was sub standard, and nobody in the movie behaved realistically. i am gonna pan the shit out of this movie, what a waste.

The SPFX scenes were hardly cheap, they may not have been the best but there were still some good gore scenes.

That is the only compliment the movie can get though, everything else was terrible.

Just watched this, awesome gore and effects and shitty plot with terrible acting and dialog...was just like all the terrible slashers from the 80s...I loved it ha ha ha 8/10
