Sleepaway Camp is definitely f**ked up. High Tension is pretty disturbing as well just due to the intensity and overall premise of it.

I agree with Maniac especially the ending. For me overall Carpenters Halloween one and two. Loved how there was no real reason givin to why Michael was a killer he just killed. I grew up on both of those and our my favs.

I'd actually go with the Final Chapter.

When I was kid it was probably the one I saw the most and I always thought it had a good disturbing quality to it even if it is your standard slasher done for the 4th time in a series.

When I first saw The Burning it got me because of the younger kids getting maimed in it. Maybe it was just the overall, independent 80s feel to it.

Maniac didn't even pop into my head, but yeah, great choice. The original Violent Shit had some pretty odd images in it, a lot of Schnaas gore... really when you're talking about Schnaas though, it's usually only disturbing due to how poorly made it is.

Sleep Away Camp 3 when she ran over the counselor's head with a lawnmower was a shocker, I saw it when I was a kid.

Castle Freak also very disturbing.

Maniac was a pretty strange movie and i love it, but i would have to say sleepaway camp. The ending is shocking and disturbing of course, and even though it's a pretty comedic film it has some very dark undertones.

You were right Steelba, I too am going with Sleepaway Camp. Maniac was decent, and the ending left me saying 'wtf?' but overall I had not seen the ending to sleepaway camp coming - not to mention her face...creeped me the hell out.
