I don't mind Underworld & Underworld 2, I even have the dvds.. at least they're R rated with plenty of good action scenes and a pretty hot lead chick. This reminds me more of Van Helsing.

yeah I liked Underworld 1 and 2 myself, it reminded me more of part 3 which was really crappy. But yeah I can see the comparison to Van Helsing. I might have enjoyed this movie if I was 7, its that kind of flick.

funny spoiler below I just could not help but laugh at

this movie had a ton of "yeah right" moments, but one that literally made me laugh out loud in the theater was when our Frankenstein monster named "Adam" goes to the gargoyles who have now tried to kill him, they spot him so they start to follow him. He knows they are following him so he walks across town to where the bad guys are and they gargoyles are like "holy crap this is where the bad guys were all along!" and a big fight breaks out. I laughed because alllll these hundreds of years these demons and gargoyles were across the street from each other and they didn't even know it.[/
