I like a lot of his older stuff. NOES, People Under The Stairs etc. I liked the Scream movies for pure fun fluff, and I liked Red Eye (though to be honest I'm not exactly sure why, but its been a while). I don't hate him, but I'm not a die hard fan.

<3 him. He introduced me to the genre! He can be cheesy at times but I can't hate my horror angel

Same, my first horror was a Wes craven film and I've loved him ever since. Granted now I've watched more of his material, he hasn't always got it right but when you look at what he has, films that are gonna be remembered then he's done alright for himself! My Favourite films are the scream series (loosely in the horror category) noes, the people under the stairs and I thought my soul to take was alright as well, there's a lot more directors out ere who have done worse! Lol

I consider Last House on The Left and The Hills Have Eyes to be classics but didn't really care for NOES or Scream. I don't really consider them to be 'true' horror films.
Wes Craven used to be my favorite director and I used to be a huge NOES fan, but it seems like I like this man a little less with every film of his that I see.

Craven's work has greatly influenced the horror genre. He needs to find the fire that he used to have. "My Soul to Take" was terrible! He is still capable of good films.

Okay, here are the ones that I enjoy:

    NOES (all of them)
    Deadly Blessing
    The People Under the Stairs
    The Hills Have Eyes
    Pulse
The Last House on the Left
    Scream (all of them)

I do have to say that his older work is way better than his newer stuff!!
