Happens all the time, but doesn't happen so often after a movie has already begun filming.

Fango spoke with Roddy Piper recently, where he revealed what happened to the project. According to Piper, the film was "half shot" before they simply "ran out of money." Now it's just sitting there collecting dust until someone with the right amount of funds comes along.
