Rob Zombie's H3

As you may of heard, Rob Zombie has signed on for Halloween 2 (2009) and a Halloween 3 (20??).Nothing has really been said about it except for Daeg Faerch.

"Yes! I would be in it if asked!" said 13 year old Faerch.

No news as of yet on Halloween 3.
Halloween 2 in theaters this August.

Ok, the first one was great but i almost slept on it on the first hour. I'll not take it down, but..
I appreciated the fact to see a Myers more violent/stronger than ever. For that, i liked the movie but the story was a bit too long for what came out.
If he wants to remake HalloweeN 2-3, fuck!
I know i'm not clear but hope he will think about it one more time cause i was a bit sad after the 1st one.

I dug the first one and can't wait for part 2. IF theres room for a part 3 I say go for it. But if theres a definate ending after this one he doesn't need to. Hell they should have stopped the original series after part 2.

The Halloween series will NEVER end because it will ALWAYS make money. Im ok with more Halloweens being made if people like Zombie are behind it, but Zombie wont do more than 3 Halloweens, actually Halloween 2 will probably be his last. After Zombie they will bring in some hack directors and get back to making shitty Halloweens...and we will keep paying to see them so we can criticize them.

I cant see him coming back for a 3rd film i mean, he nearly didint come back for the second one!

I would like to see the series carry on with him as he seems to have some really good ideas, i personally loved his Remake and the second one looks even better (apart from sheri moon in the god awful wig)

Wise words. We give value to things with our money. Its like they start a franchise with a good director and idea, and then fuck the financial shit out of it, until no more money is left. Then they start again.

Movies are not about being good, they are about making money. If a movie happens be make money AND be good, well then good. But nobody financing the movie (a fundamental neccesity) gives a rat's ass about content, apart from how content will affect the financial outcome.

I think that this whole "emakes cycle" needs to stop. All these remakes stink. Texas Chainsaw, F13...awful films. I liked what Zombie did with the first Haloween remake. But I feel like he kind of "sold out" by doing H2, especially after he claimed he wouln't do a sequel.

That said I do like the original H3, and the series should have stopped there, or continued as a different non-Myers themed filmed every couple of years.

Hey, what the hell ever happened to that TYRANNOSAURUS REX flick RZ was supposed to make, anyway? I hope he's not ignoring original projects for more rehashed gruel.
