AWIL is awesome, even if John landis is the reason Jennifer Jason Leigh has no father. I also dig that every song on the soundtrack has to deal with the moon.

Both are great movies, but I think I like The Howling Better than London. I am also a fan of the sequels...well, some of them anyway.

So anyways...did Rick Baker do the makeup effects for both The Howling and AAWIL? I thought there was someone else for The Howling?

Rob Bottin did the SFX for the Howling and Rick Baker dropped in and gave some hints here and there. Rick Baker hated having to do a 4 legged werewolf for AWIL, i guess that's why he wanted to pitch in on the 2 legged lychan in The Howling.

i think the wolf itself was better in Howling but the transformation was better in AWiL.

Movie-wise I think the acting, story, and directing were all better in AWiL.

Howling wasnt bad...just not as good in those categories IMO.
