    Audrey Rose

A spooky story about soul possession/reincarnation that came out in 1977. I am sure this movie was way more shocking back then. The chilling scenes were the ones that had Ivy/Audrey running around and screaming...reliving the car accident and being trapped in the burning car. The girl who plays Ivy/Audrey is Susan Swift. She is an odd looking girl with big eyes..but she was an ok young actress. The crying was a little annoying at times..but it got the job done. Marsha Mason as the mother was ok. She was better with the emotional scenes. Anthony Hopkins was pretty good. John Beck who played the father was pretty bad...as well as alot of the other cast members. Mason and Hopkins hold the movie together..but just barely. I would love to see this movie remade someday. The storyline is freaky.

OK flick. When I first saw The Exorcism of Emily Rose, I was reminded of this (tone-wise).

I really enjoyed this movie a lot despite lackluster reviews. Actually reading the sequel to it. The movie poster for it is sooo cool. I have it in my hallway with other creepy kid movie posters.
