09 Horror Draft Round 1: Woodenheart vs. Darkgod

Depends on which movies you're talking about. Something Wicked This Way Comes, or The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, I would consider children's horror. Obviously I didn't mean children's movies like Aladdin or Cinderella. If movies like that scared you, you're just a sissy .

It wasn't Cinderella, never watched that one, and Aladdin I liked I can't remember which exact film, but there are monster-ish things in some of them, and they are certainly not horror because of it. Your entire argument is retarded if something is horror because it creeps someone out.

If you'd been paying attention that's not what I said. Every movie has a villain of some sorts, but that doesn't mean everything that creeps some kid out is horror.

I'm talking about movies aimed at a younger audience that have a very strong horror element like TMS or Monster House or the Goosebumps hour-flicks. IMO to just say, "oh these are just children's movies" and not even acknowledge the heavy horror aspects of them is "retarded".

i voted woodenheart it was a tough choice beacuse i love martyrs and nightmare on elm street! but shaun of the dead and the monster squad are not horror there comedy [even though there awesome ] , city of the living dead i love and rawhead rex, also ravenous is great

anyway in my movie collection which is organized by genre, Shaun goes in the "zombie" section of horror and MS goes into the "horror themed comedy" section...Shaun probably should go in the "horror themed comedy" but I like having all my zombie movies together
