So I'm headed to the Monster Mania convention Friday in Hartford, this is the first year they are having one in Hartford but I've been to Monster Manias in Cherry Hill, NJ and they are awesome.

Can't wait to meet Bruce Campbell and maybe Robert Englund. Also, John Saxon is gonna be sweet, I'm gonna get my dad his autograph for father's day as my dad is a HUGE Enter the Dragon fan.

I like seeing the horror stars and chatting/haggling with the horror merchants. Anyone else headed to this one?

I just found out Bruce isnt going to be there on friday...which sucks cuz thats when i'm going but since its so close I may go on sat or sunday...I'll have to see.

Just went on Friday and Sat. Got to meet John Saxon, Heather Langenkamp, Ricou Browning (the creature), Robert Englund, and Bruce motherfucking Campbell. All were very nice and I even accidentaly insulted Heather which was filmed by some documentary crew...maybe some day I can make it onto the B side of some DVD as a crappy feature...yay.

Good convention, lots of vendors, some sweet bootleg OOP dvds available, I even picked up a mess of Laser Discs...now I just need a player.
