I don't buy that many cds nowadays, mostly just vinyl. Plus most vinyl (new releases) come with a free mp3 download of the whole album.

Around 4000 cds. Mostly metal, but also some rock, pop, electronica. Need to clean up and get rid of the shit some day.

I got rid of most of my CD's. I just don't see the point of having the physical disks around taking up space when you can simply have all your music stored on your computer and MP3 player.

Around 400 cds here -- and I still buy them when there's something that deserves buying, or when a favorite band releases something.

I'm in the process now of adding my own cd collection to my mp3 player. This is going to take a while - and I'm trying to weed out the crap from the quality.
