To my knowledge I don't think we've touched upon this before. I remember a while back we had a thread based on chase scenes but with this I label it more as your favorite finishes or finales to a horror movie that you thought were well executed and constructed.
Here are some of my favorites
Child's Play 2 - Oddly enough the reason why I made this thread. I was watching this last night and as much as I really don't care for this entry (I prefer 3 to this). I must say I thoroughly enjoy the finish in the Toy Factory. I thought it was well constructed, elaborate, etc. Showing us the basic production of the good guy while having Chucky chase Andy through the factory was brilliant IMO.
The writing I always thought was a strength of the series with original screenwriter Don Mancini. Even if an idea was not used in a film, he would always try to incorporate it in another entry in the series. Still he loses points for that pile of shit Seed of Chucky. Hopefully he doesn't shit on himself with his remake.
House - The final showdown between Big Ben and Roger I thought was a nifty sequence. Going throughout the house and the mind games the House played on Roger during the fight sequence.
Jason Takes Manhattan - As much that has been said good or bad about this movie. I still enjoy the Final sequences through New York and into the sewer tunnel until virtually the very end sequence when things get sloppy.
Jaws - The tension that surrounds the sea in the finale of this movie I don't think has been duplicated since. Shame not a single entry in the rest of the series never came close to capturing the tension in the end that this film had.
Gremlins - The Final battle of sorts between Billy and Stripes in the store was creepily lit and well orchestrated with the different weapons used. The show must have been a puppeteers worst nightmare.
Those are just some of my favorites.
