TONY IOMMI Signs Deal To Score Horror Movie Franchise

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Next Films — the newly formed film-production company launched by top reality TV producer Mike Fleiss — has signed a deal with BLACK SABBATH guitarist-songwriter Tony Iommi for "Black Sabbath", a horror movie franchise. The films won't be about the group but will use the title as a jumping-off point. Iommi also will score the movies.

Any movie using Black Sabbath (the band) as a starting/reference point is start at with 'low expectations' in my mind.

Heard about this a while ago. Just using Iommi's music would be fine with me. I've heard he likes to tamper with wicked sounds in the studio...proof of that would be listening to his song on The Mob Rules - E5150.

After success with “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” and “Hostel” franchises, Mike Fleiss is now making producing movies a full-time job with the launch of Next Films. Fleiss found success with genre movies and plans to continue in the arena with new projects like “Black Sabbath.” Next Films is currently looking to bring in foreign filmmakers and develop franchises that, like “Hostel,” have an international element and can be cheaply filmed abroad.
