I liked the original, but i believe that they've waited far too long to have a sucessful sequel come out of this. Especially when it's budget is around $300 million.......I actually expect to see this flop big time. Imdb has a realese date of 2011

This looks like it could be really good. The original I saw for the first time not long ago, so this definetely want to see where this goes.

I haven't seen the original Tron in so long I dont even remember it. But the technology wasn't good enough for this back then again I dont think. Nowadays its perfect for it. This movie looks amazing and will be great in 3D.

Well I just got back and I had fun with this. Of course the visuals where amazing, story was kind of simple but still enjoyable and the soundtrack was amazing, this had some of Daft Punks best work to date easily. There was some things I didn't care for, like we don't know what happens with one major character and while I didn't mind how it ended, it did end rather quickly. Still I enjoyed it, and my favorite character was Zeus, he's like a less likable Jack Sparrow, he was just awesome. Also.......some really sexy program babes.

I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10.

A few annoying points and "WTF was that?" moments, but overall an enjoyable film. Have to say, I liked Olivia Wilde in short black hair.

I wish this movie was more about ass kicking lightcycle battles and less about incredibly boring exposition. A few neat pieces of Eye Candy, but so what?


Also this movie was so dark, which is horrible for 3D, because then you wear the glasses and they bring the image down a few stops darker.

So, don't get sucked into the fad-phase and not watch 3D? I passed on the 3D version and didn't miss anything.

Never saw the original, but I thought this sequel was a great flick with some surprisingly awesome music from Daft Punk. Visually stunning and interesting from the start. I would've liked to have seen more action with the cycles or other "vehicles" and I thought the look of Clu as a young Jeff Bridges was a bit weird, but otherwise I really enjoyed the movie.

7/10 (but a high 7)
