diary of the dead is seriously so bad .....its one of the only movies that i couldnt watch through all the way because of the threat of slitting my wrists and bleeding out to stop the torture it was to sit and watch that shitfest

Romero made some GREAT zombie movies. All of them are good. I think Land and Diary are good too. But he is falling into the "i love CGI" craze which is very very bad. And I also wish he'd make a zombie movie with a satisfactory ending already.

He's made 5 movies about people fighting off zombies in a plague that we don't know how it started and theres no end in sight. we get it already. I mean if he keeps making zombie flicks and they stay atleast at the par they are atwill I keep watching them? yeah. But make a movie about the end of the plague already. Or atleast make a movie with an actual ending.

You must be new here. Let me help you. Never, ever, EVER expect a mature response from steelba. Approach him like you would the slow employee at Goodwill. Basically, if anything he says make sense.... its a good day.

On topic, definately should see at least the first in the series: Night of the Living Dead. The black and white version if possible, but the colorized version works just as well. Romero's earlier work really shows his scope and less debatable as some of his recent work (some think his recent films are a bit weak, hence debate). At the very least, it allows you to see what all the fuss is about and understand why folks compare any zombie flick made to his work.

Totally disagree. What gives NOTLD it's realistic feel is the grainy, black and white documentary style filming like the news broadcasts of that time. Add color and you take that all away.
