I just finished watching this flick starring Eric McCormick (Will and Grace)and co-starring Robert Patrick (terminator 2) and Dan Lauria (the wonder years). Its a homage to those old 50s and 60s sci-fi monster movies. I myself absolutly loving those old monster movies had to check this out. Its very faithful to those old flicks. While you can obviously tell its a new movie and not an old one, they still use technics to make it look old. The monster is big rubber tentacled thing with a big eye.
The sets and everything are very authentic which made it really really cool. They even used the fake looking effects when someone was driving which added to it being so funny. The monster was invisible a lot which annoyed me. But all in all its a pretty funny movie if your into those old monster flicks. If you like those old movies check this out. Its cheesy as hell and its completely meant to be. If your not into those old movies well then obviously stay away from it.
Oh yeah, whats the movie about duh. Eric Mccormick plays the host of a body hopping alien. His spaceship crash landed and unleashed a horrible monster called a Goata. Which leaves people as puddles of goo after it eats them. He uses the good doctors body to track the thing down. I wish there had been a more climactic ending, and it being a homage to those old flicks theres no gore or nudity or anything but like I said before its a cool flick. I'm still waiting for the day someone makes a movie that takes place in the 50s and uses a crazy over the top monter like that and throws in some gore and blood and nudity. That would be fun as hell.
